Founded by Meredy Dambacher, Sonora Studios is a creative studio built on the belief that the strongest brands begin with purpose and come to life through strategy, story, and design.

The studio takes its name from Sonora, California, the mountain town where Meredy grew up.

Growing up surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains, she developed an early appreciation for nature, craftsmanship, architecture, music, and the quiet beauty of thoughtful details. Those early influences continue to shape the studio today, inspiring work that is grounded, timeless, and intentional.

Over nearly two decades, Meredy built a career at the intersection of branding, business development, marketing, creative leadership, and design. Working across industries taught her that memorable brands are never built on aesthetics alone. They begin with strategy, grow through thoughtful execution, and endure because they create meaningful connections.

Although design became one of her greatest passions, it was never where the journey began. Years spent in branding, business development, marketing, events, and creative leadership shaped a strategic perspective that continues to define every project today.
